Ramsay is a Partner in Eastern Sun Capital, the private investment arm of Jeremy Grantham, co-founder of asset management firm GMO (Boston).
Ramsay is also Executive Director of the Grantham Foundation, where he oversees grant-making and endowment management. He previously led solar energy investing at MissionPoint Capital Partners, an alternative energy private equity fund, and originated investments in EcoSecurities and SunEdison at Marshall Street Management, a family office. Ramsay has also worked in timberland investment, conservation finance and began his career with a community forestry project in Indonesian Borneo.
He holds Master's degrees in Forestry and Business Administration from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard College.
