Before joining Flowcastings, Giuseppe worked 11 years at Kennametal Stellite, an Investment casting manufacturer for Aerospace and Gas Turbines blades, vanes and heat shields in Italy.
Since 2009 Giuseppe was Quality Manager, responsible across Quality Assurance on castings, certifications EN 9100 and NADCAP, part specifications review and control and Standard Procedures.
He was involved in Qualification actions including documentation review and dimensional analysis with Statistical / 6 Sigma tools, Route Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports and implementation through the Company. He also led Customer and Supplier Audits, Internal audits on products and Customer Source Inspections on products. He started as Process Engineer and Project manager for new castings development and validation, coordinating the relevant process documentation and improvements.
Giuseppe began his career as Metallurgical Laboratory Coordinator with Avio GE, leading the revalidations of Heat Treatments carried out on aerospace components. There he managed a variety of metallurgical controls such us Micrography, Macrography, Hardness Tests and Technological Tests, and performing internal audits for Nadcap accreditation of Laboratory.
Prior to this experience, Giuseppe was involved in Alenia Aeronautica for an internship of Special Aerospace Systems, performing Analysis and Safety application on “g-seat” for Flight Simulator of the Eurofighter Typhoon.
Giuseppe holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico University Federico II of Naples.
